joint-enrollment

i really didn't know where this fits...

has anyone ever done joint-enrollment?

can you give me your experiences?

what are my chances in becoming a joint-enrolled student?
grade: junior
SAT/ACT: have not taken yet
GPA: around 3.8
General average: 93

BTW... is it much different from high school?

huh? what's joint enrollment?

do you mean dual-enrollment? at a university or community college?

no, it's called joint-enrollment where i live.

it's when you take your first year of college and last year of high school at the same time.

you are 50% high school student and 50% college student.

has anyone heard of this?

havent heard of that. wish i had it here.

I've heard of that - but only from friends who live overseas, generally in the Middle East... I have no idea what it's like, though.

nevermind...

I've heard of it...

They have it at a high school nearby.. I haven't done it, though.

I am doing joint enrollment.

so, how is it?

are the classes that different from high school?

do you enjoy it?

I meant I am going to do joint enrollment. I am probalby going to do it at Georgia Southern University since that is where my brother goes. I am going to apply in the spring, and I am guessing I have to stay on campus.

Bump

I'm encountering tons of negatively from my HS about joint enrollment. Here it is called ACCEL. Honestly I still get a HS diploma with distinction so what is the difference? And there is no way that an AP course at my high school would be any better than anything at say Perimeter or Gainesville. Being in a state were SATS are the bottom of the barrel doesn't say much for the quality of ed in general.
