<p>I am hoping to become a sports journalist, and UMCP sounds like it has an awesome journalism program. Could anyone familiar (student, alumni, parent) with the Journalism school share their experience? </p>

<p>My limited info: We visited last summer and had a personalized tour of the journalism school by a couple of J-school students. They were both very friendly and enthusiastic, ready to answer all of our questions. They said freshman journalism students can easily get involved with The Diamondback.</p>
