<p>Does anyone know the best colleges/universities for the writing aspect of journalism... as a Gainesville resident I know UF is good... but I kinda want to get out of this town, and Florida in general.</p>

<p>Annn, I did a lot of research when I was looking for a good school to go to for journalism, and I don't think Syracuse is exactly a tie with Mizzou as far as the J-Schools go. Syracuse is a better school all-around, while Mizzou is kind of a typical state school, but the infamous J-School at Mizzou is pretty much only second to Northwestern, and some even debate that. It is also a lot more affordable (and a lot warmer!) to go to Mizzou.</p>
