As I have been recently battling against my tight schedule and the surplus of AP's that I have been wanting to take, I have found a solution to pacify my problems: the JSA summer programs. I have completed my application and hopefully I will get in so that I can take AP Government and get that out of the way. Have you guys had any experience with this program? Will it help with getting into an Ivy? How hard is it to get accepted? Thanks guys! :)

By the way, this program is catered to those interested in politics–not a major that I am considering

Im kinda in the same boat with you. From what others have said on CC, it seems like a good program. Now, no program will help you get into an Ivy league school. The only way that it may help is if you have good grades and a high SAT/ACT score.

Like you have stated above, this program is geared to people interested in politics. If you are not at all interested in politics, I highly suggest that you don’t attend this program since everything is politically oriented.

I hope this help!

@Southfloridaguy what other threads have you found about the JSA program? I searched but was unable to find any-- thanks for the help!!

Here is one. If you want more, just google “JSA Summer program reviews”

PS. If you are applying, apply before May 1 since you will have a greater chance of getting into your 1st pick course and location. JSA called me warning me that if I wait after that date, my chances decrease dramatically for my 1st picks.
