Combined English/Writing Scale Scores

I don't think colleges know what to do with the Combined English/Writing Score either. And it's NOT a replacement for the English score. I'm pretty sure they use the English scores just like they used to--if they use them at all.

I still haven't gotten mine :(

Did anyone get their score reports by mail yet?

Yes, I live in Illinois and got mine in the mail on Saturday.

grr when can i get my writing scores?

Any one else not yet receive ANY scores?

I still haven't. Have you? Or anyone else for that matter?

I have recived none of my scores

Long time lurker, first time poster. First try at the ACT, without taking any practice tests or test prep classes.

English: 36
Math: 33
Reading: 33
Science: 32
Composite: 34

Also just got my AP test scores back today...

AP Language and Composition: 5
AP Statistics: 4

wait, what? ap scores are out?

Yep, call the # they are out early!

ACT scores have been posted for today. Still no scores. I called and was told that those who have not yet received scores may have had a problem with their individual test(ie. that person answered a question twice or something like that). Before anyone believes this or gets nervous, it sounded like a stock answer and not one that was well informed. She said to try again on Friday after the next post. Just a quick question to all who have not yet received their scores--Is the anyone from New York that HAS received a score?

i have... i recieved it the first day it came out... however the writing wasnt posted then... i am nervous to check the writing because if its not posted then it will just be a waste of 8 dollars.. but if it is....

As you know, I still haven't received it and I am from NY

ACT Composite: 33

English: 31
Math: 34
Reading: 33
Science: 35
English/Writing: 32 (why does a 12/12 only bring it up one point???)

And if you feel like adding up and dividing my scores you will see that I got a 33.25. Only one question from a 34, which was what I was shooting for. I'm kind of mad, but I'm not taking that dumb test again!

Yep, I still haven't received my report - one "glorious advantage" of living in Canada......-.-'''. OH well, I've got patience this time - after getting my April score report ONE DAY before my June test date (I had to decide whether to take it again or not....there's no formal pre-registering here)

And what made it "better" was that for Canadians, score by mail is your ONLY option. (smiles)

I dont have the score report either. (at least not by mail)

I am from Texas.

Do colleges look at the Combined English/Writing score and take it to be the final ENGLISH score or does it not have any importance as such?

they really dont care about the english/writing score. I think they care about it seperatly.
