Alright good, If I didn’t put they stayed underground for a few months I’m a ■■■■■■… I know it was they stayed under for a few months it said it in the passagte.

yes D was right then! They stayed underground for a few months

I’ll laugh if I did the best on the prairie dog passage since I only had 4 minutes to spend on it lol. It seems as if all the last passages are relatively easy, maybe because they realize that you probably would only have a few minutes to work on them?

Compiled list for the four passages anyone?

Like
a. He quietly told himself that he needed to lose weight
b. he was a character in the story
c. he told his kids to not eat as much because they had work the next day (something along those lines, I don’t remember)
d. I forgot the last option

OKAY I WANT TO CLEAR THIS ONE UP FOR GOOD. This is the “Gotta get in shape” one. People have been saying it was B, the testing out the treats one. But Im pretty sure the answer is (C), that he wanted them to be prepared the next for whatever it was…it said so in the passage. Don’t say weight because i will curse at you lol. I get that the answer isn’t weight. But i think it’s C. The passage indicated that it was indeed C.

The fact that he said he’s a bit rusty makes it pretty clear IMO that the answer is he is testing out the treats. Since that’s what the shop sells- bakery treats or whatever.

^^^exactly

Fresh,

If you remember right after that sentence, it said “that’s what he said, but I think he just liked to feed us”.

It’s clear that he was making treats in order to prepare for the restaurant opening.

C doesn’t make sense. The kids aren’t running a marathon. They’re painting a store. They don’t have to be in shape.

Ah, so the one people agreed upon was B for the indian passage? I really hope so, because that’s what I put. If so, -0 on the reading!

For whatever reason, I remember crossing out C as an answer choice. What were they preparing for by eating?

What was question #1 on that indian passage one? What did the girl think of her fathers stories?

Btw, I also said B

All the other answers didn’t make any sense. He wasn’t telling a story where the character thought he needed to lose weight, and he wasn’t telling himself that. I think he was being sarcastic

I said because they need to be fit for the upcoming days or something.

Being an Indian, my grandparents say that alot: 'Oh, you study so much, you should eat more"…so I just picked that lol

Can someone answer my previous question?
- What was #1: How did the girl feel about her fathers stories?

That one was hard I thought. I put she thought it was surprising because he just recently started telling them and she’s really impressed with them.

All I know is she didnt think they were embarressing, and she definetly did like them.

Was that answer choice C?

^you’re right. How was that a hard question? It stated it in the passage.
Sometimes, the questions you think hard, and the questions i think hard are completely different. I really wish i had your mentality; i would be sure to get a 36 on entire test.

I put that too. Also, was her favorite story of her dad going to India?

Hah same. I dont remember the answer choice.

You know the one that asked (for the Waterfire passage), what were the dancer performances when compared to the fireworks? I put less significant …

It was compared to watching the festival. I put less as well. Her favorite stories were of india, yes.
