What did you guys answer for the question EF is 4 times larger than DE, what is the coordinate of DE? (Answer choices I can remember were (7,5) and (8,6))

It was 8,6 @Ntrer1cal. It was also -1. I’m sure of it. I reviewed the entire math section twice.

(8,6). Because EF was like 8sqrt(2) and DE ended up being 2sqrt(2)… I think :o

“I got 4<x<6 for that |x-5| question wasn’t it <1 so it’s between that 4 and 6 not including 4 and 6”

I guessed and said empty set haha

@SammyxB You’re right. It was -1 not 1. :D

I am not kidding I guessed and prayed LOOOL Oh my god if I get a good score…Ima be dancing

@kenday and @Hawkace
Ya you both are right it was empty set as well as coordinates 8,6 whichever one came out to be 2.8 cause if you did the distance formula the whole line was like 11.47 or something and 2.8 is 1/4 of that

I checked over that question and I am 100% sure it was positive 1
Also for the one about the factors that could affect the outcome of the question with the sunlight and vegetation, what did u put?

@ indiangurl- I don’t remember that question. What were some if the answer choices?

I don’t remember that one either :/

What is everybody talking about with regards to test changes? I thought the only test changes were that the test may be online.

I think they were, the kind of vegetation, the slope, the area…

oh yea, and then the spray of DM right?

@inidiangurl- I do vaguely remember that, umm darn I can’t remember it well enough to tell you what I put- sorry!

Apparently there is a google doc going around?

Lol all of you guys have good memory because in all honesty I couldn’t remember a single question after being home for 2 hours after the test.

@roweruns- the test was formatted a little different(at least for the English and reading sections)- there were no questions that asked for the LEAST acceptable answer- more questions asking the main idea of passage. Reading section had a split passage with much more rhetoric an inference based questions which required a more critical comparison, causing many a hard time to keep pace.

@Jibmonster Yes I’m aware of that, but the talk around here implies that’s a permanent change. How do we know that’s not a one-off situation? I’ve seen some odd tests in the past. For example, I saw a test in which the humanities passage was an interview. I’ve also seen a test in the past in which there were zero redundancy questions. Granted, the test was from several years ago, but the one yesterday seemed more reminiscent of this older version to me than anything else. Is three some reason to think there is a permanent change?

Yeah in addition to ACT being online,format chances are occuring

Its permanent.Especially with SAT changing to gain back customers that ACT had “stolen”
