June 14 2014 ACT Discussion

White, since you can see the colors. I was very surprised by the 2 passages within the Humanities. Math was tough. Had to guess on 7 questions.

I guessed blue since it was the default color for many of the chemicals, but now that I think of it White would’ve made more sense as it allows the well to change color easily

is there a google doc

Can someone make a google doc?

For rhs english was it whom or who

who because the all was performing the action

For the one that said “all of whom acquired”

whom because it was after a preposition

Does anyone remember questions 53-57 on Math? I had to guess on a bunch and put “A.” Did the 2 equal trapezoids throw anyone else for a loop?

I put who as well

I really liked Barrons book for the English section, the only reason I think I actually was prepared for the english section on this ACT was because of the Book

P.S. I it was whom because i’m pretty sure something was happening to the subject as they acquired something

Question about the guy who teaches pottery to hundreds of his town people. Was it delete the word “others” and or change it to “Maya people”?

Did therer happen to be a ton of B’s at the end of reading? lol

I put whom as well

for math #59 the one about the restriction for the rational equation do you remember what you got? I put the one that had 25 in the demoninator (had to guess)

I have taken in 3 times and I thought math was way harder than normal, everything else was normal/easier

the one with the trapezoid on the xy plane and you had to split it in half?

I changed it to the Maya people iirc because it more clearly stated who he was talking about

Ok i had whom thank god lol. I hope my science score improved and i need a 30 on english

what were some of the hard math questions?

For math #44 (the one asking about the length of DE given that EF was 4 times DE), was the answer (8,6)?

^Yes I got that
