yeah word

(r jacob below me)

Anyone remember any other questions?

Oh, and yeah I got Li (7 grams) for the M3N thing.

I asked this earlier, but just to double-check: How many questions were there about Bronsted-Lowrey Acids/Bases? What were the answers?

No, i don't think so. Temp decreased -> volume should be smaller -> the coefficient should be less than one aka t2/t1

the pressure increased -> volume shouold be smaller -> P2/P1

V2 = 200 * t2 p2 / t1 /p1

reichin which question was that for? I know for that pressure problem u had to use P1V1/T1=P2V2/T2. You must isolate V2 and and plug the numbers.

V2=(P1)(V1)(T2)/(T1)(P2)

the gas temp question- the third answer choice otherwise known as C

rjacob: i was responding to your post earlier but the quoting didn't work ><

hmm yea, the formula is right, but you have to consider the context. I might have put C... i don't remember. Anyway, did the pressure increase or decrease?? I know the temp went from 27 to -23C for sure.. = decrease in volume

Does anyone know what the curve is?

Instead of saying 27C to -23C, it's better to say 300K to 250K...

probably 3-4 wrong for 800?
yea, 250/300 * 200 * some pressure that I forgot.... what were the pressures given??

100 kPa 50 kPa. should get 1000/3 in the end

The question never asked you for the answer though.

Btw for the graph of temp vs pressure is do you remember if there is linear inverse graph? I might have put that. How stupid I am!

agree =), van_sant

Does anyone remember?

yea, there was a linear one going down. I'm worried too. :c

why is the p vs. v curved rather than linear?

The reason why P vs V was curved becuz P=1/V which is the same thing as y=1/x. The y=1/x graph looks like http://a3.vox.com/6a00cd9710850e4cd500d4142b7233685e-500pi

The P vs T graph should look like a straight increasing line

Pressure and Volume are inversely proportioned so it would be a curved graph rather than a linear.

What did you guys get on the last question? I was so lost .

The VERY last problem gave the reaction of the Haber Bosch process and asked how many moles of NH3 were formed when there were 2 g. of H2 and exccess N2.

N2(g) + 3H2(g) → 2NH3

i got 0.67 mol of NH3
