mosque was not error.

anyone know the answer to my question POST 120??????

the first one with a double infinitive can't work

they believed they were to have been

is that right then?

I don't remember the question you're talking about, Starbursts, what's the context?

What kind of answers did you guys get for fixing the coffee passage? I remember deleting "although" and adding something about talking long into the night in terms of coffeehouses. Oh, and there was something about a nonspecific "it" I changed too.

Anybody else get two no errors?

there was the "nevertheless" thing, which i deleted.

same as tammgiar.

southeast- I got two no errors. I put the 'delegates to UN' and something else(i think the monkey one).

I think I got the 'delegates' Q wrong though, cos people said 'to' is correct. I thought it was 'of'. Like you say, 'participants of the event'.. Anyone?

There was a nasty tense error in the U.N. sentence. The monkeys and mosque questions were correct, I believe.

the U.N. question was like ...will present....earlier this year...

It is obviously a tense error to those ppl who think its an idiom error

there was this other question about 'being dependent to'
i said it was wrong because i thought it was dependent on
the question was about this girl who wanted to be independent but something until she found a job i think...

^ "dependent to" is not correct. 'to' was the error.

does anyone remember the mosque question?

what was the answer to the skateboard one and the ice skating one?

thanks Elanorci
so i was right lol i was fighting with my friend about that idiomatic part
he says that dependent to is fine but i disagreed lol

sushirave- i can't answer your question, but hey! we have the same 'starting words' in our username! haha :)

does anyone know the answer to the skateboard or the ice skating question?

^^ Do you remember the sentence? Even vaguely?

the skateboard one was: San Diego County, home to skateboard corporations and skateboard ramps like those used in competition, is a favorite place for skateboarders to live.

the ice skating one i put: Although she was a more experienced dancer...

yes, although she was a better ice skater was the right answer.^^ But somehow I don't remember having a skateboarding question... hmmmmmmmmm

It was like Although the more experienced ice skater, Emily lost to name, the beginner.....i think it was no error.

so was it no error for the ice skating one...that was the second to last question right. does anyone remember what they put for the biographer one...it was a parallelism issue...it was question 14/14 on the last section...

I put no error....biographer? do you remember the question?
