Bilguun ,where was that ‘‘y on the number line question’’ I remember it ?Was it on the second 20x25 section ? one of the last questions ,probably number 19 ?

What about WRriting ?

Hey, Guys I have some CR questions to ask and discuss lol~

Do you guyz remember the short passage with the imperious bus driver?

What was the Answers for those two questions??

Curiosity vs Frustruation

Mother’s initial reaction+Mother’s later reaction

The last Question of Sea Passage (concede a point vs obstacle)

What do you guys put??

about the bus driver was the easiest passage ever.Easy choices.
curiosity vs frustration ? What was this passage ?
Mother initial reaction was normal.I mean, completely expected. Her later reaction was shock
I think the author of the sea passage concedes a point .His point was to explain how can we observe bacteria that lives at the bottom of the ocean .
He didnt talk about any obsracles.Just pointed out that we need a microscope or sth

Wait the cr passage about the dad painting, the mother’s initial reaction was ‘casual acquience’ right?

yeahh tht’s what i put down too aquaintence

yep ,everything was completely casual oceanangel ,her later reaction was shock ,right ?

Yeah, I put casual and then shock.

BTW, for the curiosity vs frustration in the article about the sea I put frustration. He said something about envy and I just got that general vibe…

I think it was curiosity .Sci-Fry ,where are u from :)

not true, “I” was referring to the author if you read it carefully, later on the passage also describes the author’s experiences at the sea-bed.

so it’s not lack of parallelism in real world.

The correct answer was something else but i can’t remember the options.

Frustration should be correct since the author felt that everything has been discovered already –> there was no mention of curiosity, which is a feeling that fuels someone to explore new things. In fact, if there was a choice synonymous to “lack of curiosity” it might actually be correct since the author feels that there are no new things to be curious about.

Hence by elimination, we get frustration since the rest of the choices must be wrong. That answer is the least of the evils.

Darn, was thinking of curiosity, but decided on frustration. Seemed plausible at the time.

CR7, I’m from Italy ;)

CR7_Manutd: Yup the mother’s second reaction was shock.

Sci-Fry: don’t freak just yet, both answers could be right and we don’t know yet lol

"Improving Paragraphs~ (Essay about elevators)
- Add a sentence in the beginning of a paragraph: [the discovery] had long reaching impacts"

I really don’t remember this essay…haha and I also don’t remember this answer choice…does anyone remmeber some of the other choices for this question?

elevators…? is that the experimental section?
cuz i didn’t get that, i got the one with Shakespeare.

yh98srk: For the passage about imperious driver, I think the first question was to exaggerate or sumthing, the second was something to do with “hostile attitude”. At least thats what i put

It can be curiosity because we can infer that the author was curious to discover new places.

I got the passage on Shakespeare too. Oh so not all international students got 4 math sections? lol

Yeah I put hostile attitude for the bus driver. I can’t remember the one before that…

the driver responded with unexpected dignity(?)
the driver did not care about the customer’s comfort(?)

I thought the answer before thathad something to do with the driver exaggerating how important he was or something

I think that choice you are refering to is driver had a sense of exaggerated self-importance
but did he show any self-importance??
