June 2009 SAT INTERNATIONAL

jglee412))
I chose the one with “Passage one was about by a specific(?), passage two was about the response of all lawyers in general or sth.”

So the parallel meant between Nemo’s voyage and reality?
I thought the choice was vague so I didn’t pick it o_O Oh well, we’ll see when the scores come out >.<

it was a parralel coz it stated that “noone esle has” comparing the reald world to the fictional world !!! its the obvious ans !

yh98srk: yeah that;s what I thought…“scientists” was what made the choice doubtful…
I think I get why it’s “no parallel” now lol So was the author using that quote to stress that nobody had travelled so far before?

btw i think im getting 1 wrong in math so do u think it can still be an 800 ? coz i think the standard f math this time was harder than usual and waaaaaaay harder than the blue book maths

was the january CR curve weird? what will i get if i got 6 wrongs?

I got 1 gridin wrong for math too, I’m thinking it’s a 780ish…the math wasn’t THAT hard, especially compared to the january test, so I doubt it’ll be 800. Altho it would be great if it is :D

What’s 10 wrong in cr
0 wrong in math
and 5 wrong and 10 or 11 on essay???

for the quiet and dark Q I thought the answer was impenetrable and sth b/c from what I remember the particular part that the Q quoted on was about how thunder cannot penetrate the sea or sth like that…? Am I wrong?

i put impenetrable or something similar too!! isn’t “upper deep sea” part of deep sea too? it said kraken sleeps even though there is thunder in upper deep sea so i chose some word that has a meaning close to unstirred or something like that

It was quiet as “thunder can’t penetrate” = quietness and the dark referred to light being unable to reach the bottom.

yeah if you think about it, how can the sea be “impenetrable”? It doesn’t make any sense

hey sad korean

its math-800
cr- 670
nd writing 690
so thats a total of 2160… thats ok

oh and its impenitrable coz sound cant reach that deep… duh !

^ are you saying that “impenetrable” is the answer? cuz i’m very sure it isn’t…It’s quiet and dark

^ I put quiet and dark too. There were one or two setences indirectly describing silence and darkness and what not.

nono answer is quiet nd dark… but impenetrable is right the other thing with it wasnt
