June 2009 SAT Math

i thought it was -4 hahah… everyone seems to think its something different…

yea i kno… it definitely was not positive.

ok so let’s get passed that one… any other questions?

was that problem toward the end of a section…

What was that dumb perp line in the triangle?

… Isn’t the perp line the side radical(2). And 5rad(2) wasnt’ one of the answers; nor an equivalent.

yep it was last. it had the graph… of this curve with lots of ups and downs and asked when f(x) equaled f(-3)

I didn’t have that question…was it experimental?

anyone had an answer of 10+ 5 (rad)2 for either number 19 or 18

monoclide the one with the base is 4… sides are 5…? i put rad 21…

when will the test scores be up?

yup^…

and the question we’re talking about wasnt experimental… bc i had it and had an extra reading section

ny0rker, all you do is find the y value of f(-3) by looking at the graph and find another value of x on the graph with the same value which was f(2)

i think it was root21? if im thinking about the right problem

rad 21 for the perp triangle. I almost got it wrong because I considered another side the hypotenuse but luckily I got it

did anyone do the one where you had to put height in terms of radius, I put h=4r

Are international exams different than state ones? Because I really don’t remember any of those questions…and I did all of them…

Thank you for the rad(21) answer. Makes more sense now! Good thing I left it blank!

that open one with the students in a class 1000+20(21)/20 was 71 right

phew, good thing I put 71, for a second there I thought that question was too easy to be a difficult ranked one. I was checking to see if there was some trick to it

i’m sure a got a bunch wrong… didn’t study at all. but here’s what i got on the free response section. also, if i’m not allowed to post this, someone tell me and i’ll delete it.

edit: haha by the looks of it, this is massive fail. ignore this.

nope it said total tuition

so 71*21 = whatever is the answer

No. It was 1491.

It asked for the total amount. So, 71 * 21.
