June 2009 - Mathematics Level 2

Discuss. Remember, don't post questions.

I think you mean 2009, right?

Anyways, I skipped 4 (the last 2 and then 2 others somewhere in the test), and I’m pretty sure about the rest of my answers. But we all know ETS, and I’m sure they tricked me a few times into thinking I got the right answer.

I skipped 4 also, including the last 2 questions, as well. I definitely got another one wrong, but I hope that’s where it stops.

Skipped two - the last two (wish I had paid attention to Barron’s “extra” prep)…
I also got 1 wrong, and I’m not sure about another 4-5. Hopefully, I guessed well and got a 800! :)

i left a graph question blank. what do you do to f(x) to make it flip over the line y = x (this is my own question)?

overall i think it wasnt hard but i was surprised and relieved at the same time at the number of trig questions on it. i just hope i didnt mess up on the first 30 questions cause i kind of sped through them and had no time to look them over. the last question was easy though

There was a sequence question that I didn’t know later in the test. It had imaginary numbers in it.

It was harder than I expected, and I ran out of time and had to guess on a few and leave 4 blank. I believe its still possible to get an 800 with those numbers, but I’m not as confident as I wish I was.

Not to mention anything too specific, but there was a graph/plot towards the end of the test that completely blew my mind. Anyone else agree?

I got bogged down earlier in the test, so I skipped two near the end that looked like they were going to take a long time. Also, I estimated the answer for one, then realized the correct formula afterward. I think I got that right though.

So 2 omitted, and probably some stupid errors. 800 is definitely possible.

The test, as far as difficulty goes, was super easy. However, the time alotted (1 hour) was, IMO, not enough to complete the test. I knew a way to do almost every problem, but time was an issue. Some of you guys have some super fast problem solving skills, but even with the aid of my NSpire I fell short of answering 40 questions. I’d say my raw score may be 35/50. What would that equate to?

i also ommitted 2 :(

You guys probably shouldn’t be posting the answers.

Doing all 50 was definitely possible… I don’t think it should be easy to get an 800. However hard the test was, the awesome curve will make it so 90-95% get an 800.

And dude, you can’t say “the one about [the answers]”. That’s still posting the answers.

Rofl he says you posted an answer and tells you to delete it, yet the answer is still in his post where he quoted your old post haha.

Maybe I should quote the quote and tell you to delete the quote, but that would still leave the quote in my post…

do we ever get to discuss the answers

CC lets you, but you did sign an agreement with CB not to… so it’s up to you.

Is the embargo officially lifted? The sticky in this forum says Fire Away! Lol

Yeah but that was edited like 5 months ago. So I don’t know.

I feel absolutely awful after having taken that test. I was so confident of an 800, especially after I felt that I aced the Chem, but I ended up omitting 5 questions (2 of which I could have done if I actually read the problems correctly). And I know 1 is wrong (I guessed incorrectly for that).

Doesn’t the embargo last two days? Or is that just for AP?

do u guys think 43/50 will be 800 or even better?
