June 2009 SAT Math

haha yeah i remember that too

for one math answer, did you guys get something like 5 to 18? It was a proportion…

Man I made so many dumb mistakes on this test, not to mention I think I messed up my answers on one of the later sections (forgot to skip one on the answer sheet) so I guess I’m screwed as far as math goes.

can someone make a compiled list?

@Bee
I got the same thing
It was 5:18 no doubt

wasn’t that 3/7??? or is that a different question??? if so, then what was the question to 5/18?

3/7 is the grid in
5:18 was a proportion MC question

i don remember anything with 5:18
i think the question u r referring to is like what ratio has the same ratio as 120:36
which means the answer is 20:6

does anyone remember the second grid in question?
it was like what is the ratio of radius to diameter?
or was it diameter to raidus…
don remember…

yeah i got 20:6

and radius Question was .5

for the proportion, 20:6 was absolutely the right answer

I didn’t have that one. I think Bee and I had a different problem than you. ^^ ^^

then what is this 5:18 proportion thing ppl are talking about?
r u certain radius question is 1/2?
cuz that’s what i put also

Here is another question.
It was like graphs of low temperatures and it asked how many times were the actual temperatures lower than John’s(made up name) low temperatures?
i think i put like 8?

nope i got 20-6 too, for a different one. 5:18 was a different problem, a ratio between some geometric something. Maybe this was my experimental section lol

Beautifulnerd: did you have experimental math?

@Bee
Lmao I never knew about an experimental section until today (I’m a newb)
Idk what I had

did you have four math sections? if so, you had an experimental math section
lol

rlag, lol ya after counting them over and over (like 5 times in all), I got 8

Just to confirm I made a dumb mistake on a problem, for the parallel lines question that asked what angles added up 2 180 degrees, was there 2 answers that worked out of the 3 given

yeah there was two answers ^. II and III i believe

yeah
i think the first one didn’t work…
im so scared that i bubbled stuff wrong and stuff cuz i think i got everything right on math…

I’m still ****ed about that one problem with the tuition. I hate how a lot of the stuff I get wrong comes from misreading the question :(
