June 2009 SAT Math

I know I missed one and think that I missed only one = D.

lol…
i always finish the section in 15 minutes and spend 10 minutes double checking everything carefully

the only times I can finish it in 15 mins is if I don’t have to bubble in answers :D. So far I haven’t made any dumb mistakes besides one on the tuition question. Hoping for 750 on math and atleast 650 for CR, but if I end up retaking I’ll have to get better at bubbling stuff in. I was kind of surprised by the size of the bubbles on the SAT because in the blue book answer sheets they were much smaller lol

Hmmm so far I know I missed 2 MC and 1 grid in—that’ll be about 720 right? Hopefully? I know that’s all I’ve missed of the questions discussed here, but I have a tendency to make silly mistakes from going too fast so I’m crossing my fingers for a lenient curve (unlikely) and no careless errors!

I got 60 degrees for the last open answer. 65 degrees doesn’t make sense. I added up the triangles afterwards and 60 degrees worked.

Also, you guys are looking at the wrong angle.

The angle they asked for was the one in the second triangle with the 35 degrees, which is 60 degrees. The picture has the wrong angle.

unfortunately, the picture has the right angle. thus it is 65

are grid-ins worth the same as other problems?

What question had an answer of slope 21? I don’t remember this at all

^It was the one with a graph that had 3 points.

The information given was that the first line (it wasn’t shown) had a slope of 1/5 or something like that

was the answer to the question with the 50 numbers and 30 picked randomly I.

It doesn’t have the right angle though.

yup just odd was right

Wait so what did the slope 21 problem ask for? I remember there was three points with some missing coordinates… but jeez I just cannot remember this problem and I’m worried now haha

can someone refer me to the other FR question that had an answer of 8 (not the temperature one). I can’t seem to find it.

Thanks

Same here mate.

Slope 21 problem is a line that have 3 points. Each of those 3 points have a missing y-value. They said that point x to point y have a slope of 3 and ask you to find t.

so you guys say -1 should be what between a 760 and 780?

^ Most definitely, -50 points for a question would be brutal.

A couple months ago was there a test where -1 = 750?

Just for the record, I hate the math curve :)
