June 2010 Math

Can someone remind me about the 26*4 problem? I cannot remember it…

yeah, where is the 10 pi problem, i know there is a 32 pi.

^^It gave the endpoints of the diameter, so you plug into distance formula. End up with 10=d. C=pid=10pi.

What am I looking at with 5 wrong, 1 omitted, and 3 wrong on grid in?

for some reason I divided 24 by 4…facepalm…anyone else do this.
Think I missed 3 on Math, hopefully that is good enough for Caltech. (with a 800 MathII)

Can someone predict my score with -4 MC, -2 Fill In, and 1 omit…

Just a general question. If some people had a math section that was experimental, I don’t know if I was the only one, but did alot of you guys get alot of critical reading sections? This is because I saw one CR section after another, and I got ****ing annoyed because I hate the reading sections!

the 10 pi problem was an easy one right? since i cant recall

Anyone with the experimental section:

What was the question about the pentagon intersecting with a circle? |D

Also…was that the experimental section? . ____ .

what am i looking at with a -3?

I didn’t have a pentagon that intersected w/ a circle, so that might’ve been exp?

Wait… what was 26 * 4? I don’t remember that one either. Maybe it was an experimental. (I had a CR experimental so…)

Good. The question bothered me, so I was hoping it was experimental. XD

thanks goldysocks ^o^

**If y = 2x - 8, what does 2y + 8 equal to in terms of x? **

** If 9a - 3 < -12, which is not a possible value for a?**
A)-11
B) -9
C) -7
D) -5
E) -3

I seriously did not get #20 in like section 2?
** the sum of the first n integers is n(n+1)/2
what is the first n+2 integers**

if someone would explain that, that would be great =D

I did this one and kept getting answers that were way off.

So I just plugged in numbers until I got the right one. |D

Guys? Does anyone know anything about the 26 * 4 question? I’m not sure whether it’s an experimental question or not, but I sure don’t remember seeing it anywhere…

Me either. ^
But, I think I vaguely remember getting 104 for something…?

^ That was the infinite values of k question :p

I remember getting the answer…

I don’t remember doing it.
