London first, Amsterdam for the second… ^^

These are my questions

What was the answer for the second last question? It was an image question.
USSR (bear) is holding a bag (reformation).
I put something about independence

What was the answer for Marco Polo?
I put bean and rice…but i guessed it

What was the answer for the first question asking about the gender roles during the hunter-gather society?

Where was the first place raising sheep and some other plants?
The choices were Asia, Europe, Africa, etc.

What was the answer for the map of germany?

What was the answer for Laotsu?
I remember that he was a daoist (taoist)

What was the answers for the Ibu Battuta’s writing?
I put something like there are slight difference in Islamic cultures for the first question
and put the women from ibu battuta’s culture do not allow people from outside.

Why did Germans try to invade roman empire?
was it cuz of the huns?

Did maya and roman empire existed during the same era but had no contacts?

Yoo - I put northern Italy, too. For the second question I put Amsterdam. London wasn’t as important until the 19th century; the 17th century is known as Amsterdam’s “golden age.”

Apakabar:
I put E for the cartoon, something about independence.

Tomato and sweet potatoes for Marco Polo.

I put that they have different but equally important roles.

Ibn Battuta - women weren’t allowed to entertain other men.

I also put Huns for the German/Roman question.

^^ But Italy didn’t start urbanization until the Renaissance? And I thought I read somewhere that London had an usually high urbanization rate for that point in history…

I put northern italy and paris. I feel stupid, I was rushed and failed to make the connection between Holland and amersterdam, and the dutch where sailing everywhere in the 17th century.

Adam,
[Italian city-states - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia](Italian city-states - Wikipedia) I think it was Italy still

TomWolfe: I put the same thing you did - Northern Italy and then Amsterdam.

The USSR bear and trick-or-treating picture, I put the one about the satellite nations wanting independence when USSR begins reforming.

Marco Polo - I put tomatoes and sweet potatoes. Not sure about tomatoes, but I thought sweet potatoes were from Mesoamerica, which wasn’t in contact with Marco Polo at all.

Gender roles in hunter-gatherer societies - I put the first answer… whatever it was. I forget. Something about important equal but not something else…

Where was the first place raising sheep and some other plants? - I put Southwest Asia… seemed like Middle East to me.

Map of Germany - Pretty sure it’s before invasion of USSR - 1941.

Laozi - The one where it was something about being still and something… can’t remember.

Why did Germans try to invade Roman Empire? - Huns

About how many can you get wrong and still get an 800?

I wonder if the curve will be easier for this test, assuming it was harder than other ones

I think the Soviet Union one was that the surround sattelite states’ citizens welcomed the reform that was going on in the USSR.
Marco Polo one was sweet potatos and tomatos.
First question on hunter-gathering societies was that women and men had different roles but were similar in importance.
The Lao Tzu quote one I think was the one where he said that the citizens will do good whether or not the government plays a big role.
Ibn Buttuta one was that in Moracco women couldn’t enterain other men and that the culture and social rules of Muslim socities differed from one other.
Germans invaded Rome due to pressure from Huns.
Roman and Maya existed at the same time with no contact.

Yeah, northern Italy was the most urbanized area. And the seventeeth century is known as the Dutch Golden Age (Gouden Eeuw), so it was Amsterdam.

Oh and farming/civilization began in Southwest Asia.
And I think one of the questions was that agriculture began independently in the Eastern and Western hempisphere.

On an actual practice test in the CollegeBoard book… I missed 14 and skipped 2 and got a 790.

I think this test will get about the same curve, hopefully even more generous.

For Lao Tzu i put the first quote, where he was talking about if the government is nice, the people will listen to it or something…

for the high middle ages question, was london the answer? i put norther italy…

for the USSR question, I think I put (E)…

What was the answer for the Lao Tzu question?

Was Huns the correct answer for the German/Roman question?

thanks!!

I did too but then my ap world textbook said Laotzu was all about nature and stuff… any choice about that?

one i wasn’t sure about was the effect of japan’s isolationism on its economy?
I’m sure of the Huns for the Roman question, and (E) for the USSR question. i also put northern italy for the industrialized question but i’m not sure.

@seahawks: yeah, i looked for that answer choice about nature but none of the choices were nature related.

Yeah, High Middle Ages was northern Italy.

Also Huns were the cause of German invasions into Rome.

compilation of answers?
