June 2010 Writing

Unfortunately no. I am not good at remembering questions :(

What was the other no error?

Several people have said that they got no error for 29. We agreed that the sentence “That they got critiqued didnt surprise them…” was no error.

Either #29 is the second no error or #29 is about the critique which means that there is some other question that people think is no error.

can someone clear this up?

I think number 24 was the question about that black dude making a integrated town in Pennsylvania?

thanks usernamee.

the right column was (i think):
top-right: stonehege question — error in verb tense
middle-right: Chinese emporer — should be “all other types”
bottom-right: i think this was the one that was “have went” and should be “have gone”

i am not 100% sure that any of the above 3 were indeed errors.
Was it one of those three usernamee?

Hmmm, i think the Philadelphia one might have been the right column, and the error was in “intent about” and it should be “intent on”

Can someone please remind me what the #29 was?

@ccuser…no none of those…i put errors for all of them…were there 4 in a column?

was it the guy in Philadelphia?

from what someone else remembers:
"this dude formed a community in philadelphia (or is it illinois?) very few were there?

do you guys remember section 10 number 1
i was debating between “made” and “; he…”

i just went back and amassed all posts specifically about the Philadelphia question: [The dude who made the institut - Anonymous - FDauq1Ua - ■■■■■■■■■■■■](http://■■■■■■■■■■■■/FDauq1Ua)

seems that “intent about” was the error

CONSOLIDATED LIST (non-experimental)
-please confirm, correct, improve, elaborate wherever you can
-Venus Williams section was experimental
-currently thinking there was ONE no error

women became a person in their own right — plurality mismatch on “a person”
… one …, you — pronoun inconsistency, “you” is the error

I thought the molars question – pay attention to was an improving sentences question

@jlewis24 can you tell me which section it was in (10 minute or 25 minute)? thanks.

please respond if you remember section 10 number 1:)

I feel like it was just a past tense form of a verb. made? broke?

i vaguely remember “made”. Not 100% sure though.

what do you guys think my score will be:
either 47 raw/10 essay or 48 raw/10 essay

I don’t think I’ve missed any so far. I’m hoping for 10+ on the essay. Tough ones: the “either” question, the one that began with “that,” and hmm I’m probably forgetting a few but I think it went very well.
