June 2011 SAT Curve Speculation/Relative Difficulty

I wasn't getting any answers in other threads, so I decided to post in a new thread. What do you guys think about the June SAT in terms of difficulty? Any possible curves?

Going to be normal - to meaner curves. IMO.

Even for the CR? I thought the CR was harder than normal, at least harder than the March one.

^March had an extremely harsh curve because it was supposedly easy so I presume curve for this month better.

So what would you say a -3 CR will be?

I got -7 march critical reading, 680.

This time i got between 3 and 5 wrong. Hoping for 740?

I think this was definitely harder than march

CR was definitely harder than usual (and I say that as someone who got an 800 on it last time he took it), so I’d expect a somewhat generous curve for that. I thought Math was relatively easy, but most people seem to be saying that it was slightly harder than usual. Writing seemed fairly easy too, and I thought the essay prompt was pretty good so I wouldn’t expect a particularly big curve on the Writing.

percentage chance of a -1/800 in math?

Math: Pretty standard and i guess easy. I got tricked on one, but it happens. Im pretty sure -1 ≠ 800. Probably -1 = 790 but we’ll see

Writing: To me this was the easiest writing section i have ever taken. I was unsure on about maybe 2, and it seems that i got those right. Essay was also a very easy topic to talk about. A vast improvement from March’s. Curve will be harsh or like other curves in blue book. -1 ≈ 770-780

Critical Reading: Has to be one of the harder CR ive encountered. Vocab was a little harder that usual. The passages were fine and easy to understand but there were many ambiguous questions. Ones im still disputing with my friends and is still being argued with on here. -2 = 800 for sure Missing 3 (-4raw) = 770 im guessing. Course, i also had an experimental and im having trouble discerning what questions were in the real section and were in experimental section.

-5 in math in march was a 690.
-2 or -3, do y’all think I can get a 740?

Predict?
Raw scores
-3 Math
-6 Reading
-1 Writing with 11 essay
Thanks!

Predictions for a -3 CR? (-4 if you take into account the -1/4 for each wrong answer)

predictions?

-1 math
-5 reading
-1 writing with an 10-11.

-1 Math will probs be 780, same with writing (you might get higher), and is the -5 reading with or without the 1/4 points off?

without, so a 61/67 raw score.

So it’ll probably be like a 740

Math -1 = 800? Any takers? Apparently it was harder than usual

Does anyone know what my score for each would be? Math:MC is -2 with 1 ommit and -3 grid ins. Reading: -9. Writing -4 with 8 essay

Comparing this test to the ones in the Blue book that have a -1=800 curve, this test was easy. I’d say -1=780 or 790. 800 if we get lucky. Depends on how everyone else did.
CC isn’t really a great place for Curves because this site has an over representation of high scores.

just out of curiosity what would it take to get a 730 for each?

Would, 3 omitted on math, 4 omitted and 3 wrong in reading and 4 wrong on writing with a 10 essay suffice?
