***June 2014: Chemistry (US)***

Yeah even i feel the lab stuff in barrons is a bit hard! I live in India and dont really have much experience with the stuff thats in the lab section of Barrons. On one practice test, i omitted like 5 lab questions and those were the only ones i omitted! I got everything else correct lol! It doesnt seem like this stuff is in Princeton though

Yeah, it is really hard. They were the questions I was primarily getting wrong. Barron’s is much harder than the real test: I realized that when I completed Barron’s and started doing Princeton Review and tests from other books

I saw some biochemistry questions that werent covered in any review books…
Any help?

@Robots156‌ Shoot the question.

It was something about lipids/carbohydrates structure :P

What would you guys recommend to someone who is at around chapter 10 on Barron’s and has tons of finals on Friday to study for? I got a 620 on the diagnostic test… I just want above a 700! Is it doable? Any tips for getting through the rest of the book fast but still understanding most of it? Thanks! (Also posted in the Math II forum for the same reason so if you got any tips for that please let me know haha)

What do you guys think of princeton review? I have the 2011-2012 edition and just finished ap chem

Also how much organic chemistry/lab procedure is on this test?

Guys can anyone explain questions 4,5 and 6 in the collegeboard practice test for chemistry? Thanks!

@bengal85‌ Online or in the book?

Where did you get the practice test? @bengal85‌

I need some advice. I’m using the Barron’s book and I keep getting a raw score of around 35-40 and I’ve taken 3 practice tests so far. I dont know what to do to increase my scores! Im studying consistently each day and did pretty well in honors chem…

Guys in the blue book by collegeboard! Hawkace can u link me to the online one?

K might as well post the question. It is in part one of the test.

Here is the question!

Does anyone know what kind of lab questions are asked on the actual sat? Cuz i did the ones on Barrons and im doing pretty badly on those…

How many can you get wrong to get an 800?

The curve changes each time, but the blue books says around 3-4

@bengal85‌ The answers are A, B, and E, right? Should I explain myself?

Just got ~640 on the first practice test in Barron’s. Would that be above a 700 on the real thing? Not sure how you guys are converting the scores but I’d love to know what I can expect tomorrow (eep!).

I hope I can get 800 but I got 770 on my practice tests today lol
