**June 2014 SAT Scores**

@HalfWaterHalfAir‌ oh god what happened to your WR score @@

@shijurodhaz‌ No. I’d hold off on it.

@capitalamerica‌ Thanks. Do you recommend any online coaching site for the SAT mainly for the english section? I don’t mind the price as long as it is effective.

CR: 800 (10 points up)
M: 720 (10 points up)
W: 800 (80 MC, 10 Essay; same score)

I’m disappointed about math because I know I can get a 760.
Oh well, this was my last opportunity. ACT, here I come.

Checked mine at about 7:50 this moning, and I have to say, I’m confused. I tested for the first time in May, and got these scores:

Reading: 650
Math: 620
Writing: 660 (44/49 MC, 8/12 Essay)

So a total of 1930. Not bad, but I needed at least a 1300 between Reading and Math for scholarship purposes. My dad advised me to take it again on June 7th. When I got studying materials from my teachers, he told me to focus on Math alone, as that was where I needed the largest boost, and only by 30 points. Colleges look at the highest score in each section, so I went along with it. Well, this morning I checked my scores, and

Reading: 580
Math: 620
Writing: 700

Overall 1900. Here’s where I’m lost. I know I said I focused on Math when studying, so I didn’t expect Reading to be that much higher the second time around, but a 70 point loss? Wow. That seems like a really sharp drop. And then the Math. I read over all the tips in “The Princeton Review,” tried remembering “Joe Bloggs,” took math practice tests and did fairly well, and my final score didn’t change. I don’t understand why. Heck, the first time I took the SAT, I did all multiple choice and left out 4 Student Produced Responses in the Math. This time, I only missed around 3 MC and completed all Student Produced Responses. I felt so confident coming out of that test center. I suppose I can retake it in October, but I’m still surprised and disappointed.

EDIT: Woops, I said I skipped 3 SPR the first time. I meant I skipped 4.

CR 720
M 740
W 790 (10 essay)
2250

superscore: 2260

Kind of disappointed. This was my second time taking it and I was hoping for a 2300+. I did the same in writing, -10 in math, and +40 in reading as the first time I took it. Hopefully, my ACT is better so I can send that in instead.

I improved my total score but am disappointed in my math. I walked out sure I got a 780 and sure it couldn’t be lower than a 750. Like I can’t explain how confident I was. Was the curve really that harsh for math this time? I’m really disappointed.

CR: 720
Math: 720
Writing: 660
Essay: 8

Looks like the curve for the math was 800, 780, 760, 740, 720.

CR: 610
M: 530 (meh, I expected it)
W: 660, 10 essay
Composite: 1800

Eh, first time taking. Predicted 1800, so works for me.

@willbill182 I’m in the same boat as you. I got 520 CR (meh) 670 M 620 W 9 essay (1810 total). Honestly, I heard schools don’t like inconsistencies in scores, so I need to bump that CR up lol

Composite: 2370
CR: 800
M: 800
W: 770 (75 MC/10 E)

Funny 'cause I almost always got 800s on W on practice tests while getting lower on CR and M…hmm…
Not complaining though!!! First time = last

@crystal19‌ Woah! Those are some great scores!

Hey guys, what would be the writing score for a 9 essay and 80 multiple choices
Why does @capitalamerica‌ get a 780 with a 9 essay and 78 multiple choices while i end up with the same 780 with a 9 essay and 80 multiple choices

Some scores stay the same @Sparkkid1234‌

First time taking and ended up with a 2170! Really pumped about my 800 in CR but I’ll retake because I know I can probably improve my writing (690, 10 essay) and math (680) scores.

CR: 740
M: 700
W: 740

Superscore: 2250

Guys, I truly think that whether you got a 2260 or a 2300 will not be the deal breaker within admissions. 50 or 40 points aren’t going to matter in the end, what will matter is how you portray yourself in your essays and the passion that you reveal to the officers. I couldn’t be any happier with my score and I’m proud of all of you. :)

690 M
760 CR
800 W
2250 even

OTLOTLOTLOTLOTL

I need to bring up math, I’m surprised I got a 690 in reading though I thought I bombed it

Now that I know I have the potential I’m going to study my butt off

On the May sat I got a 2000. This was my third and last test, and I was aiming for a 2100. My results:
M:640
R:610
W:670
Composite: 1920
I’m going to cry. Hopefully I’ll do better on my subject tests in the fall.
