Pretty sure it was neither. I got “agents” to be the answer. For your other question, I don’t think I had that one.

Pretty sure it was neither. I got “agents” to be the answer. For your other question, I don’t think I had that one.

my friend told me that this test actually repeated the one in June last year…someone has taken that one last year? Is it true?

Ehmm is there a difference between the international ones and the ones in America? I dont recognize any of the questions or topics posted here (and I’m good at remembering stuff haha). Btw my essay question was whether one would be more fair if one was confronted with injustice and unfairness.

One of the CR articles was about talent and practice and one about yawning.

Do you guys remember the Ginette Neveu question in the writing section? (with the Henryk Wieniawski Competition…) I can’t remember what answer I chose but I have a feeling that I missed it.

The international and US versions of the SAT are different…and I did not have the section above ^^

ive been looking at previous threads and have noticed that a lot of questions havebeen ignored. PLEASE ANSWER THESE!

was the answer to the trapezoid (one side was 75 degrees) that it cannot be determined?

I put 105 degrees since the figure was drawn to scale (and all trapezoids have at least one pair of parallel sides)

i also thought that for the one with the triangle and three sides (it was the one with roman numerals) that none of them applied. for example a triangle with 8-9-10 sides is not equilatteral yet 8 +10= double 9 and thus all of them were invalid.

I put the answer that said “II only”. It had to be equilateral, because if you read the question closely it said “the sum of ANY two sides equals twice the third side”. That means you can not use the 8,9,10 triangle because although 8 + 10 = 2(9), if you add up any other two sides (8 + 9, 9 + 8) it will not be twice the third side. It was a sneaky move of them, I know… I had to read the question three times before I saw it.

was the ones with the cubes answer 5? (there were 3 cubes we saw various sides)
I put 5. It was the only plausible answer… even though it seemed a little too simple.

i think 1 answer was 10%…
Yes, the last question of one section was 10%. At first I put 67%, but then I realized I had to subtract April’s total from March’s to get April’s amount (since the graph showed cumulative data). There the SAT goes again… trying to trick us!

what was the answer to the question with the “practice”?
I’m pretty sure it was “you practice”, because (as people have previously noted) there was no subject in the sentence. Personally, I put the infinitive (“to practice”) but I knew it didn’t sound right.

I can confirm all the answers posted above are correct

The answer to the Triangle within a triangle question was 22.5 right?

“The answer to the Triangle within a triangle question was 22.5 right?”
—>Could you provide some more details about the question? I don’t remember that one at all!

Also… quick side note… was the answer to one problem involving 3 squares and a triangle 64? I vaguely remember being given 2 squares that overlap (thus creating a right triangle) and having to use the pythagorean theorem to find the third side. I got 8 for the side of the third square. Just when I was about to put 8 as the answer I realized it was asking for the AREA of the square rather than a side… area of a square = s^2 = 8^2 = 64. Can anyone confirm this?

2 things… was quagmire a correct answer and how long will it take for someone to make a pretty much full answer key?

What was the answer to the one with the cubes? How many cubes can you form from this figure? I guessed B. Do you guys remember what letter it was?

@sma1013 quagmire is correct. and idk for the second question. Too many answers are still being disputed.

a05b19 the answer was 40. I don’t remember the answer choice, but it might have been B.

Blondie, it was something like AB=BC and one of the angles was a right angle and you had to find x.

But I don’t remember which one you were talking about. Was it experimental?

quagmire was a correct answer, the cube was pretty straightfoward, dont remember the answer though, and I cant remember the triangle, square, whatever question discussed above, probably experimental

Aw man… so the one math section I was pretty confident about was an experimental… surprising

Sma1013- yes, quagmire was an answer. I was positive about that one. The sentence had something to do with “a difficult situation” which is precisely the definition of quagmire.

As for the cube question, it was 40. If I remember correctly, that was letter B… it may have been C though. I’m not quite sure. In order to find the answer you had to find the individual volumes of each rectangular prism, then add them all up and divide by s^3, the volume of the cube.

I dont think that section was experimental, blondie. On my test, I had 2 sections with grid-in questions, so I’m certain that one of those grid-in sections was experimental

guys i took the june 4th SAT but i had tottally different questions. I took the test in England do you think college board makes different papers for different countries??

theirishfreak, yes, there are different tests for different countries. Probably because of time zones…

does anyone remember if the writing question about honking geese and if that was on an experimental section or the real section?

can people please talk more about the critical reading! almost all these posts are about math. I had a lot of trouble with the passage about oral verse written gossip.

Yes! Some parts of the critical reading were a lot harder than I expected.
I personally thought the oral gossip narrative was very difficult…
also the two passages about the censorship of books.

Does anybody remember any specific questions from these sections? I had a lot of trouble with them but it’s been a few days… I don’t really remember much.
