June 4 SAT I Math Only

I don't think we had it, trinya. And if that's true, hypernovae, this could be an unfair boon for those who retake...

well I know it's true, because you're describing questions that I not only remember doing, but discussing afterwards on these boards.

hmm... if so collegeboard has a strange policy, Use questions again for a test a month later

maybe they couldn't prepare all the questions in time for the June test...lol

I had fed04's version, which he listed below. Can anyone remember the questions for 900, 70, 12, 22, and 8?

These were my answers to the grid ins:

900
70
5.5 (phone companies)
20 (3 digit number)
58 (square roots add up to 10. I used 49 and 9)
12
5/2 (negative reciprocal of -2/5)
22
8
74 (surface area of cubes)

22 was the one that was like rs = r^2..how many different values of r can there be.
-6< (equal), r, <(equal) 21
0< (equal), s, <(equal) 21

i think that was it....

Yes! Thanks!

hypernovae, I took that test too in May, and I remember all those questions as well. Unfortunately I didn't get that section again on the June ones, because I thought it was quite easy. CB should wait at least a few years before recycling. I think they are getting really lazy (in march they recycled the Saturday test for the Sunday test takers). Someone told me that one of the reading passages on the June test was recycled from October.

anyone who did have that question about 5 consecutive integers, do u agreee on the answer?

wasn't that 10?

no i mean the question I posted up a few- maybe on the page before. It said if u have 5 consecutive integers which of the three below are true and was like a I,II,III thing

Oh, you mean the one that was like:

The sum is divisible by:

I. 3
II. 5
III. The median of the integers

I chose only II and III.

I'm kinda worried about my grid-in answers...I got hung up on one of the MC's in that section and didn't have time to go back over my answers so there's a good chance that I made a stupid mistake. I don't remember all of my answers but could anyone tell me if any of these sound familiar?

I'm pretty sure I put 5.4 for this one but I don't remember for sure, it was definitely a number with a decimal!

After that I don't remember any specific ones but I remember a few here and there. I put 100 for the one that asked for the lowest perfect square that was divisible by both 5 and 10. I put 5/8 for the cereal and milk one and I also put 5/8 for another one. I also remember the numbers 1/8 and 14 but I don't remember the questions.

Sorry that this post is rather incomprehensible, but if anyone had this same section and remembers any of their answers, please post! Thanks!

hmm 100 and 5/8 are right

oh I just rmbred a question....it was one with a triangular prism and like the front was shaded and you had to find like w and they gave you h and a couple other numbers...what was the answer to that one?

for the 900 one they gave a function and you had to do f(5) - f(4)

bump anyone rmbr the triangle prism question. I think the answer was found through proportions but the picture was wierd...so I'm not sure.

^ I got 12 for that one.

Anyone remember a cylnder inside a square? wasn't the answer 2 pie?

orestes ... I forget what I put but what method did you use to solve it. nothing too crazy right?
