Yea, this is REALLY weird, I don't think I had ANY of these questions except for the trapezoid one.

i didnt have that, it sounds so difficult and weird that it was prob experimental

what did you all get for the free response math with the 3 cubes stacked on top of each other and it asked for the surface area

i got 74 haithman...

guys.

questions:

f(x).... it was -g(x)... the graph was flipped.

ok, another thing, i remember 3/47 for the sets A B C...

i got... 12 for A, 24 for B, and I got 11 for C.

there were 3 and 8 in C for 11.

OK, so it is 3/47 for those in set A that are in set C.

k thx.

ill think of more.

ok, another thing that came to my mind is:

24PIE or something for a square in the middle of two circles. area of the region was 24PIE, I think. forgot.

no

A = x number of stuffs
B = 2x
C = 1/4 of A + 1/3 of B = x/4 + 2x/3
C = 11x/12
so A/C (the percentage of set 'A' within C) = (x/4) / (11x/12) = 3/11

"what was the answer to the question where there was 1,2.8..11,13 and it said k is greater than 2/3 and what are the possible values of k?"

didnt it say that 2/3 of the numbers are greater than k..and was a grid in so u put either 1 or 2.8 ?

yup is 24pi
a square cut out 1/4 of both of the two circles with radius 4
so 1/4 of pi r^2 = pi (4^2) = 12pi
and two circles = 24pi

the question where the parabola was reflected in the y axis , it was like y=-xsquared -4, what was the reflection? i just plugged it in my window and added two so i tink it was +6...

myopic:
f(x).... it was -g(x)... the graph was flipped.

^ I got that too. I don't remember what I put for the other questions.

*** i thought it was percentage of A within C for the total of everything?

fck!!!

For the one that had the three circles tangent to each other and it told you that the diameter of the circles was 8, surrounded by two parallel lines and it asked you for the distance between the two lines, did any of you get 8+4root3 ?

melon...what is the one with y= -x^2 + 4 and reflected across y=6 to make y = x^2 + k? i got k=8

Yes HELTAHIR i got that too

i didnt have alot of these.....i dont have much time...but for the person that asked the trapezoid one...the lines were parallel so they had to have the same slope...and the one one with the given equation had a slope of -2 so if u look at k-0 over 0-k/2 it is 6..thas the quickest way..some ppl did way too much work for that

Did anyone get the question about k is a positive constant, what is the vertex of Y on the parabola? I got -4

Also, what about the (x+2)(x+2) question? I got 8.

Yeah, sither, I also got k=8. The distance from four to the line y=6 was two, so it must have also been two above y=6, or k=8.

HELTAHIR...

for the one that was like 3 < sqrt(m+1) < 5 ... did you get 15 values for m(from 9 to 23)?

and for the fill in blank one that was like -6<=r<=21 and 0<=s<=21 did you get 22?
Also, what about the (x+2)(x+2) question? I got 8.
Was that the one that was like (x+2)^=9? If so, then I'm pretty sure I put 8 too.

and I got -4 the parabola one too.

Dice Problem I think:

The probablity:
1/6 x 0 + 1/6 x 1/2 + 1/6 x 1/3 + 1/6 x 1/2 + 1/6 x 1/6 + 1/6 x 1/2 = 1/3
