June 8th ACT Reading

I remember the answer was in either the end of the first paragraph or in the second.

does anyone remember what her mother would agree with or something :frowning:

i really don’t remember the better life as the answer so im getting anxious

I thought her mother wanted her daughter to have a better life than she did.

Yeah. I don’t remember a better life. But i totally forgot what I put

can we compile a list?

I honestly don’t remember that, so don’t take me word for it.

@mattsmats I would love to compile a list

i dont believe the mother wanted a better life, she wanted her to appreciate the past or something of the sort

I don’t know if the better life thing is right or not. Where did it say that in the passage and the second part of it was something like “because she lived isolated in the farm.”

Yeah. I put appreciate the past or something like that

That sounds familiar. Maybe I put that. I really can’t remmebe

what was the thing about her mother and the past

I don’t remember putting the better life for daughter. And I’m pretty confident it wasn’t that

To clear up about the japanese guy who loves opera i remember this," he wished for others to find the joy he found in opera, he knew that not everyone appreciated opera,so he wished others to find joy like the same joy opera has brought to him." I remember this significantly well because the story was intresting lol

Edit:a word

It couldn’t have been the better life. It was the mother wanted her to appreciate the past, something along those lines.

Yeah I remember that too. How about the first one. It was about who was the narrator. I really didn’t know this one.

it was an omniscient narrator because it talks bout the japanese guy in form of “he” and later when it talks about the daughter it was like " her father was so hard to please" this was coming from her point of view.

Yeah I must have missed that one. Do you know any other one’s from that passage?

if u can give me some of the storys, like one of them was the japanese another about the farm girl and another was the astronaut and last was about frequency? i didnt have time for the last one so i kinda guessed. From all the answers ive seen on here it seems i got alot oif the last section right. If you can compile some questions i can answer them.

what were all the answer choices for what would the mother agree?
