June ACT Math Section

@Argenia, thanks :(. Do you remember what choice D was? I had choice E and realized it was too large so I changed it to D without looking back at the answer options.

i did 1/2bh times 4 triangles in the pyramid. so (4)(1/2)(4)(h) plus 16 (base) = double area…oh wait i think this may be completely wrong. i got 14 somehow though… :/

it was 15.4 or something of the like

thinkin’ (praying) a 36 for this one! :slight_smile: hopefully!!!

■■■ :frowning: All right thank you

Please answer: What would a -2 be (approx)

@math
34-35
depending

cmon 35! I don’t want another 34 :(

Does anyone remember the angles for the answers for the person sitting in the chair? and also the answers for the pyramid question, was it even asking for surface area or volume?!

the angle given was 110, answer was 160. i believe it was surface area…?

answer to person on chair = 160 (top was a right angle, then you added 70 degrees to it) [opposite angles formed by parallel lines intersected by a line are congruent, so it’s 70].

answer to pyramid = 14 (for sure)

answer to #59 = D (SAS)

c = 1

…and thats all i can remember

pyramid one was definitely surface area.

What answer choice was the #60?

The matrix one was 13/4 as well. It caught me off guard but luckily I remembered how to do it on my calculator.

All you have to do was multiply across and flip it then reduce. (Matrix)

What was the answer choice for #60?

Answers so far

Ratio of lengths 1:5

|2x-a| < 3: 5

midpoints: MN is always the same slope as OP

He should buy a type 30d nail

Square pyramid height: 14

cos=(50-x^2)/50

Proof: (D) SAS

what about those 4 questoins with the pennies or something. like 3d, 4d, etc. those weren’t bad but i really can’t remember the questions.

oh the nails
uhhh the one at the bottom of the page was E or K I think…

^

I remember the last question’s answer being a Type “30d” nail.

What was the answer to how many minimum nails can he buy?
