@ Daisie: wait… the test was wrong in that book? I picked Cl before too and I had gotten it wrong.

I am pretty sure one of the questions asked for the lowest ionization energy which would be cesium. And then one asked for highest electronegativity which would be Cl.

Do you guys know if they round up the score when scoring? Like if you missed 5 questions that would be a raw score of 78.75, but do they round that up to 79 or stays as 78?

i’m pretty sure the ionization one was the lowest to which i picked Cs

Your score is rounded up. So, for example, if you scored 78.5 then that is read as 79.

They round up.

Anyone have a concrete idea of how many points i can miss for 800? 780+?

okay yay! Hopefully i didn’t miss more than 5 because that’s how many i’ve counted so far -_- ■■■. And hopefully the curve is rather generous, I didn’t think the test was very hard when I walked out but now when I look back I realize that there were quite a few tricky questions =/

balanching equation for HCO3 and Ca2+ and stuff: 2

Was Rb an answer?

Yea

can someone confirm 2 was right?

so we got the C wrong, Daisie? QQ

Yes Daisie.

Thanks, llazar, and I think so, violinplayer.

for the Carbon or the 2?

Hey was the sodium nitrate sodium iodide question buret and flask or filter paper and funnel?

limestone (CaCO3) + acid rain was neutralization… i put that but then decided to leave the question blank, unfortunately

Alex: filter paper. (I don’t think it was sodium iodide, was it? It was something insoluble.)
VP: carbon.

for that question on vanadium i think the vanadium oxide ended up being V2O5 b/c that’s what wikipedia says is the molecular composition of it.

That’s the most stable composition. There’s also vanadium II oxide

Forward reaction is endothermic BECAUSE the energy of the reactants is greater than that of products:

pretty sure that one is FF, not FT. The potential energy of reactants decreased, so its exothermic.

the vanadium one was VO2

and it was lowest first ionization energy
