for one question, was trial by jury the answer?

@jwwrox The answer wasn’t weather because the west experienced 7 straight months of blizzards in 1886-1887 which killed up to 90% of the herds, which led to the decline of open range ranching.

@wyjang94, yes the question about admiralty courts and why colonists didnt like them. The answer was because they didnt have trial by jury.

there was john marshall as one of the answer choices? ._. ****kk i knew that

@diatomiclove The answer to that one was Farewell to Arms-reconstruction, since farewell to arms was written in WW1… thank god for AP language

I put A Farewell to Arms… and I was right, but I wasn’t sure about it until I googled the book.

To me, the Huckleberry Finn answer choice had ambiguous wording. I did not know if it referred to a valley in Miss. or the Mississippi river valley. Apparently they referred to the river valley, because A Farewell to Arms definitely doesn’t take place in the South.

floobert

Damn, I got that one wrong.

Okay goooddddddd, thank god i’m a good guesser hahah cause that’s what I put.

For the first Walt Whitman question about the passage, what did you guys put?

whitman i said was romanticist and against reason.

and 3 years after? i forget i think it was inflation.

what did ppl put for voting demographics chart. i said it changed before the great depression.

Ughhh I got so many wrong. And left six blank! =

ok, i said inflation too.

@Nspired, I also put b4 the great depression.

@Diatomiclove I think i put the one that was like…antebellum period. i think the rest of them were correctly paired so i kinda guessed

wait. so was the wat whitman obection to reason? what was the second asnwer choice?
and did anyone get 1890s for one of the asnwers

Guys, what was the answer to the 2 questions at the end from te paragraph about mothers, sisters, and wives? I put education, and Alice Paul because the end of the passage specifically mentions something about intelligence. I know that it coul be the cult of domesticity but then it wouldn’t have talked about sisters would it because the cult just specified traditional gender roles for wives and mothers- “the haven from hell” was the quote of the era I believe.

And also, what was the answer about which one of these caused American imperialism. I said that it was growing fear of European independence. Here, population could also seem viable but at that time excerss population was hardly an issue was it?

Sorry, I meant "growing fear of European independence.l The Roosevelt Corollary was created because of this wasn’t it (The Venezualen gunboat crisis).

Wait, I thought the question asked what the passage said Walt Whitman agreed to? hahah woowwwwww, I guess I read it wrong.

And 10issangel, I got 1890s for one. I think it was the question about the problems farmers were experiencing.

i put alice paul but for womens rights

@nocensure The first one was about cult of domesticity, and that was catharine beecher

for the second one, the answer was excess population, because it was an except question. Excess population didnt contribute the american imperialism

i said morailty, and skipped the author.

it aasked which was NOT a contributor, so i said excess population.
