So I've been asked by three people....and I already agreed to go with the second person because he's in my grade. He's the sweetest kid ever and he got really excited, even buying me a gift as a sign of gratitude. But, today after school my old crush asked me, and I originally really wanted to go with him. There's no way I would say no to the person I already agreed to go with, but I feel all blehh....has this ever happened to anyone?

I got asked by this one girl who’s my friend but she’s kinda weird and I’m not really attracted to her, so I politely declined. Later this really cute but fairly younger (sophomore; can only go if invited by an upperclassman like me) girl started talking to me like 2 or 3 weeks before prom and was dropping hints about prom so I asked her and she said yes. She stopped talking to me a few days after I asked her all the way up until prom night, and we had a really awkward and quiet prom experience. And she never talked to me again since then.

I honestly don’t know what the point or the moral of that story is, just felt like sharing.

My advice would be to talk about the situation with your current date and make sure you’re just going as friends and ask if it’s alright if you dance a little bit with other people. That way you can dance with your crush and not catch any flack from your date. Don’t ignore your date or anything though… but that way you can have fun with both.
