I’m currently a sophomore at a top 50 school (chose to attend there despite getting into better schools because of the full scholarship that I received), but I’m looking to potentially transfer to a better school (for various reasons that I won’t go into).
The only schools I’m really considering transferring to are:
Columbia
UPenn (CAS)
Cornell
HS stats:
SAT: 2290
GPA: 4.8 W
Rank: top 2-3%
Accomplishments: National merit scholar, AIME qualified, National AP scholar, smaller school awards
EC’s: solid, but nothing spectacular
College stats:
Cumulative GPA: 3.55 (but will likely be 3.7ish after this semester) (GPA in my major is 3.9, my Chinese class first semester as well as a few difficult core courses dropped my cumulative GPA, also first semester was a 3.4, second was a 3.7 and I really think I’ll be able to pull off a 4.0 this semester)
ECs: Working a very unique/time-consuming/challenging job - don’t want to be too specific; have a website/small business, and I also write/publish a lot of content and can hopefully become a guest blogger/writer for a major website in the near future.
White male, if it matters.
Let me know what you guys think.
