Junior Transfer Student Applicant '2021

Hello everyone, I hope everyone is safe! I applied as a transfer student this year and unfortunately, my top 3 choices have not panned out(waitlisted for one). I’m trying to compile a list of top 30 schools that are somewhat generous in accepting transfers and I am looking for advice. I only applied to CA schools this year but want to expand. An example of an added school will be U Mich since they love taking on transfers. Stats by the time I apply GPA: 3.7(GPA is not awesome because of a couple of summer classes I took at age 13/14 purely for fun(lesson learned)), ECs:10/10(Super unique will be put me apart from others and show my work ethic that has been deemed “ludicrous”) Essays: 8-9/10 I have an amazing story that talks about some very difficult obstacles I have faced but I am not amazing in opening up to someone I have never met. Major: Cognitive Science/Psychology/Linguistics I am only 18 as of now and currently enrolled technically at UCSD for cognitive science with a specialization in machine learning with junior standing. Although I am leaning day after day towards giving it another run to get into a dream school. Other facts: coming from a low income, programming since age 11, competed in math since age 10(stopped a few years back), CTO of a social media-based media company with millions of followers, have been working fulltime since age 16. Recently I am a founder of a startup that I truly believe will be successful. Thanks so much for reading! Looking forward to your suggestions. I am mainly going to applying to schools with a 10%+ acceptance rate!.

How would you pay for your OOS schools? CA has good aid for instate students. Most colleges don’t offer much to transfers and public Us OOS often don’t offer anything.

You are 18 and have junior standing. You are already running your own business. It might make best sense to finish where you are, and focus on identifying the best grad school for your career goals.
