Junior Year Course Load

My schedule for junior year is about to shape like this

-APUSH
-AP Lang
-AP Calc AB
-AP Chem
Lab period (Since AP Chem is 2 periods at my school)
-Honors Spanish IV
-2 half-year required classes (but they’re really easy)

My summer work is about to look like this

-AP summer work (shouldn’t take more than ~2 months)
-online class (required to graduate, should be done by july)
-a bunch of other activities that only eat up time on weekends.

I wanted to take physics online over the summer for the sake of only having one science class next year, should i do it?

Looks good.
Physics: would you take it alongside those classes if you don’t take it over the summer? Would it be through HS summer school or online?

  1. I would have to take physics alongside my schedule if I can’t take it over the summer, which means I’d have to drop Spanish (Which I would not want to do because 4 years of a foreign language is recommended)

  2. I would take it online, not through summer school.

Is there anything else you could take online over the summer? An issue is that Physics is a lab science, so if you take it online at home, you’ll be missing all the labs. What about the 2 half-year required class, could they be taken online over the summer?

First of all, I can only take one of those two online, and by keeping them, I also get study hall every other day. taking these classes away would only cram my schedule even more. Taking honors physics would be the easiest. Also, even if physics is a lab science, why is missing labs a bad thing?

Because then you don’t get credit for a lab science…
