I messed up first semester and the final grades aren't in yet but my grades will be something like:
AP Biology-B
AP Language and Composition-B
Physics HP-B
Anatomy and Physiology P-C
Calc AB-B
APUSH-B

which would amount to a 2.8 U/W and a 3.6 W
I'm going to try harder 2nd semester, but did I mess up my chances for the colleges I'm hoping to get in to? Which would be Pepperdine, Claremont McKenna, Occidental, and Pitzer.

I go to one of the top high schools in the nation if that makes a big difference or not.

Yeah, I really messed up this semester. I did better in 9th and 10th. For 9th I got 3.5/3.5 U/W there were no weighted classes for me to take. For 10th I got 3.5/3.3 UW and 3.8/3.7 W.

The really bad thing here is that your grades show a downward trend instead of an upward trend. If you had started out bad and your grades showed an improvement, the worse grades would not have mattered as much.
If I were you, I’d definitely spend some more time this semester working on test-taking and just keeping those grades up and making sure that determination lasts into the first semester of senior year!

Then when late January rolls around, you’ll def. be more chill!

the grades aren’t looking great for the colleges you’re looking at, but you have plenty of time to make them up. just work really hard this semester to get your year grades back up, and you’ll be fine. good luck! :)
