So, here's my current schedule:
1: Drama 1
2: Geometry
3: Chinese 2
4: World History II
5: P.E.
6: English 10
7: Chemistry

After a year's battle with severe depression during my freshman year, it decimated my grade point average to a pitiful 2.79. I understood the material to a fault, but didn't do the work. As a result, my parents forced me to take all basic-level classes (which are painfully, pitifully easy). This year, without much effort made, my grades are all in the A+ to B+ range. Also, I'm supposed to be in Algebra II, but a scheduling error in 8th grade prevented me from going on the advanced path.
I feel if I try really hard next year, I'll really be able to bring my GPA up. I learned this year, however, that grade-level classes are too easy for me, so that's out of the picture

English options for next year: Either English 11 Honors or AP Lang. My current English teacher recommended me for Honors, and I plan to take at least that next year. However, a new option for Juniors next year is to take AP Lang, which I'm interested in taking. I question to myself if I can handle it, but if I study hard and keep up with my work, it shouldn't be that bad?

Science options for next year: Physics, AP Chemistry, or AP Biology. In Chemistry, I currently hold a 101%, and I usually ace all my quizzes and tests. Science has always been one of my better subjects, and I feel that I could take an AP if needed next year. My Chemistry teacher recommended me for Physics (there's no Honors science after Biology, which I took my Freshman year), but I'm rather weary due to the amount of math (I'm only in Geometry currently). However, I have to take it eventually to graduate, so I might as well take it now? The other two options I'm thinking of are the two AP's listed above. An AP under your belt is always good, and I'm in dire need of those. I also love Chemistry quite much, and to my surprise I've immensely enjoyed it this year. But, others in my school have put me down and said that AP Chem is "suicide". However, I am interested in taking it. My last option, AP Bio, is the easiest science AP in our school. People tell me it's highly based on memorization, which I'm really good at. I also didn't mind Honors Biology last year. Still, I'm baffled on which course to take.

History options next year: U.S./Virginia History or AP U.S. History. APUSH, no questions asked.

Math options for next year: Algebra II or Algebra II/Trig Honors. In all honesty, I don't want to take Alg2/Trig, but would it look any better on my transcript??

My other, final courses:
Drama 2
Chinese 3
Economics/Personal Finance (required course, semester each)

So, my schedule would look something like this...
1) English 11H/AP Lang
2) Physics/AP Chem/AP Bio
3) Algebra II (/Trig)
4) APUSH
5) Drama 2
6) Chinese 3
7) Economics/Personal Finance

Now, what are your opinions on what I should take? Your opinions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you very much!
