Junior Year...

Juniors are you ready?

AP classes, the wonderful ACT/SAT, college visits..the list goes on!

Thoughts about the upcoming year/your schedule/potential colleges.

-PacaMed-

I’m nervous, but really excited, especially since I’ll be switching to a private school! I’m probably taking 2 or 3 AP’s and self-studying a couple (AP Psych and AP Enviro)

I’m also excited to expand on my EC’s. I just earned a leadership position at this awesome environmental nonprofit run by youth and for youth. I’m going to get involved in theater again and write for my school’s award-winning literary magazine :]

SAT retake
ACT Retake
SAT II

IB Requirements
Summer Assignments
IAs

Robotics, Math Club, It’s Academic, MUN.

I don’t even want to think about it yet lol.

it’s been on my mind for monthss… idk how i’m going to endure next year. super worried…:(

Strategies to avoid burnout?

Yay, junior year =). My junior year was arguably the best out of my four years of high school -good luck with everything next school year everyone!!!

-Calico, college class of 2014.

P.S.- PecaMed, good job posing as a parent in the parent forum earlier. It wasn’t obvious at all :).

Be a boss.

Just remember that if you don’t do the HW or study, you’ll get bad grades and you will go to some horrible college with a part of your class you don’t like.

^ Or cut the self-loathing crap and be a boss.

True, but that’s kinda hard sometimes. The idea of going to college with my classmates is a big motivator.

Being a boss is an intrinsic quality. It comes with ease.

Oh really? Is that how you do it?

That goes without saying.

So you’re one of those people I’ve been trying to be since middle school?

“Is that how you do it?”

He attempts it in very thread, but fails miserably half of the times.

No appreciation for my facetious remarks, shame.

“No appreciation for my facetious remarks, shame.”

Thinks that people would have appreciation for your facetious remarks, shame.

My thinking is based off of past experience. Tough crowd today.

Quiz Bowl, MUN, 3 AP’s, SAT’s, ACT’s, death…yep.
