Junioritis, Class of 2012

I know I'm not the only one who feels it.
I'm not looking forward to all of these standardized tests. I just want time to speed up to Now 2012.

How are you dealing with your junioritis?

I’m hauling ass, but really i just try to focus in other areas other than school now. sort of give my self a break.

I’m not.

I’m just staying home, watching Japanese drama shows and eating icecream.

I keep getting sick from stress.

I keep thinking about 2012 and i’m just counting down the days.

I listen to new music, write, play guitar like crazy and try to sleep. It all helps.

F our lives.

My stomach illness is probably caused by stressed. Maybe, I don’t know.

Ehhhhhh.

it could be.

I had serious headaches a while ago and my doc said it was because of stress.

I have daily headaches that are caused by stress/medical things.

Do break the dullness of homework, I joined a new club that does volunteering everyweek. I’m really active in it (more than the other members) and in 3 weeks I’ve done 7 hours of volunteering, and I sell things to help build schools. The officers this year already want me to be an officer next year! There will only be 3 seniors next year and the rest will be sophomores (they’re typical freshman, def wouldn’t want them being officers)

I wanna be an officer though. It’s fun.

But yeah, junioritis is kicking my butt.

I’m a huge basketball fan, and March is definitely not a great month for a procrastinator like myself lol :(

But Spring Break is this Friday  which means the quarter is over. Which means only 1 more quarter left of junior year.

My spring break from community college is next week lol.

School ends around June 24, progress reports are being sent out now for the 3rd quarter. My fourth quarter starts… Mid April? It’s def way shorter than the others. And spring break is mid April

I want to skip to spring break and get past this Great Gatsby literary analysis paper I have to turn in that is worth about 250 points, lol. I still have two weeks to go to spring break. The AIME and USABO semifinal exams next week will be fun though, but then writing the essay for Gatsby will probably not be as fun. So it’s pretty busy over here.

Apoc- we finished gatsby in december  no final project because it was near midterms. I don’t wanna skip spring break because that’s when I’m visiting 3-4 schools lol.

I can’t wait until august, I need to seriously mentally prepare myself for senior year and the tough classes. I’m determined to keep straight As for at least the first semester. Then B+s at least. (it most likely won’t happen this way, I’ll get my first Bs ever come september.)

Really wish I was a Senior so I wouldn’t have to have nervous breakdowns (exaggeration) over my C (ALMOST a B…but it’s so hard for me to foresee/see as plausible) in Physics. And 2 other B’s. Sigh…

Yvette I’ll be having that nervous breakdown next year

I’ve never gotten a B since HS. I know I sound crazy.

I was feeling it too a few months ago. I had major headaches all the time and I got sick quite a bit. Winter is a tough time with all the cold :frowning:
But ever since I’ve been prepping for SAT and looking at colleges here on CC I’m really motivated. We’re almost there guys! Although summer will be a lot of work for those of you that want to get apps started eeek

Sent from my iPhone using CC

I plan on having apps done by september. On top of possibly doing a summer program or two, working, taking classes, and doing the required AP work.

Sigh:/

Wow busy  I’m doing my usual hospital volunteering and trying to find an internship or something else to do. And yeah I guess I forgot about AP summer work. I’m taking 5 next year so that’ll be fun…

I’m taking four, and two are with THE toughest teachers. The ones who actually grade like college professors. My Calc ab teacher is the same for next year bc so I already know what to expect. My physics honors teacher is the same for AP next year, but he doesn’t let AP slide with ANYTHING. one of the two toughest teachers was my track coach, she teaches AP psych and the AP English teacher who everyone decided is just evil lol (never had her but she was mean to me a couple times.) She grades way hard.

And then one foreign policy honors teacher I’ve never had before.

I’d rather be busy than bored, even if it’s going to suck

I agree. Being busy is good IMO.
I’m taking bc too! Dreading it…

It’s easy for me, and I already know how the teacher works
But we can dread it together!

5 AP’s next year, my social life/soccer will be over…

It’ll all be worth it
