I can't believe I have less than a year to apply..........
Yale (fat chance)
Stanford (another reach)
JHU
University of Chicago
University of Michigan
Northwestern
also looking into UK universities: Oxford, Durham, St. Andrews

hmmm...

harvard
Tufts
USC
UCLA
USD
Columbia
Yale.

Stanford

I haven't gotten to visiting any schools yet except in state :(

Match:
uhh..haha. I don't know.
I don't know what schools qualify as matches for me...UT is a good school but I know I'm in automatically so it's more of a safety. :(

If anyone could give me lovely matches I'd be greatly obliged. ;)

Safeties...(thanks to texas top 10% law ;))
UT Austin
Texas A&M

I honestly don't have a list or a "dream school".. I'm interested in a few but at this point it's all but set in stone I'm going to IU-Bloomington. I should easily get in, and it's a decent school, it's in-state = cheap. I don't think I'd be miserable there.... So..... :(

i'd love to go to these reaches:
princeton (also close to home and plus i used to live 2 blocks away anyway and i LOVE it)
Uchicago
NW
Upenn
washU
columbia (also close to home)

match:
BC (or more like a reach)
NYU (super expensive and i don't particularly like NYC since i live right across it)
fordham

safety:
rutgers new brunswick
pennstate (tho i don't wanna go there at all so...:()
fordham?

I'm going for engineering, hopefully at a school with a good physics program as well. And art, but that's secondary. :]

Probably applying to:
Cal (PLEASE OH PLEASE)
Stanford (AHAHAHAHAHA) (for parents)
MIT (LOLOLOL) (for parents)
UCSD, UCSC, UCSB (2 of these, but not too sure yet)
Cornell
Cal Poly SLO
Havery Mudd

All UCs, but preferably UC Davis or Santa Cruz =) o0 and Santa Clara University too =)

I'd love to go to Brown but that's pretty much out of reach. I'd like to apply to Wesleyan, Amherst, WashU, Northwestern, JHU, UNC, UVA, and William and Mary. I'm sure my list will change like 100 times before I actually apply though and I've only visited two of those.

probably applying to

uva
bc
nyu
william and mary

safeties
v.tech
bu

any other suggestions? i want to get into business/investment banking.
3.6+ gpa (VERY rigorous course load), just took december but 2200+ sat (i'm fairly confident) and so-so ec's ..

Stanford for sure. No matter what my SAT is, GPA is, or how bad my chances are, I'm giving it a shot in EA next year.

Well, then the UC's I guess.
Berkeley
UCLA etc.
USC seems nice but I can't afford it.

bc and 'nova are the only ones i'm looking at right now. i'm also considering (in no order) colgate, fordham, holy cross

I'm looking into Political Science/Econ/International Relations. At this moment I honestly have no clue what I want to major in. So far I've just been keeping my options open by taking courses of all areas.

Reach:
Georgetown SFS (1st Choice)
UChicago EA
Northwestern
Columbia ED (depeding on my SATs)
(Williams)

Match:
Johns Hopkins
Tufts
(Emory)
Safeties are Canadian Universities..I doubt I'll get rejected from them since the admission standards aren't as high.

COLUMBIA!!!!
UPenn
princeton
Cornell
University of Chicago
MIT (maybe)
Stanford (maybe)
University of Wisconsin (match/safety)
University of Virginia
Univeristy of Maryland (safety)

In order of preference:

Columbia (ED)
Yale (EA)....maybe (cuz it makes more sense to apply here EA than to apply to columbia ED)
Harvard
Princeton
UCLA
NYU
Fordham (safety)

then also, i may do (depending on my mood):
stanford
brown

my top choice by far is University of Chicago.
I might apply to Stanford, also, because dreams come true sometimes.

after that, it's:
Carleton (match/reach)
St. Olaf (match/safety)
Truman State (safety)
Amherst (match/reach)
Illinois Wesleyan (safety)
Willamette (match)

^^ Dunno how you can call Amherst a match, but you sound a lot like me.

In order of preference so far:
UNC oos
UVA oos
Penn state (IS)
St. Joe's
Boston College
Wake Forest
