JUNIORS! What are you going to do over summer?

Surprisingly the year is almost over..

I was just wondering what i should do over summer..

SAT Prep.. thats for sure...
and maybe.. some college courses?

Anyway..
Juniors! What are you going to do over summer?

Any ideas?

I'm doing:
Taking classes at the local CC
Getting a job
Dance classes and dance camp throughout the summer

You should get a job, take some classes at a local college, get a head start on college applications, do some programs related to your field of interest, or just simply relax and have fun...

SAT prep classes, community college classes and sleep.

Getting a job

Going to India

Vising colleges&universities

Hitting the community service hours hard @ the local hosptial

Working out to get my bf% under 12

college applications

SAT/ACT prep (unless I did really well on the April SAT and ACT's)

volunteering at the national gallery of art (if they will accept me)

relaxing and having fun.

Question:
How do people participate in "research" programs in universities
I tried hard to look for them but I couldn't find any.

Getting a job

Getting a job

3-week singing camp

-college coureses somewhere (depends where i get in)

god i cant wait to do the last one..

new jersey's gov school :)

PA gov school :D

Wish I could do TASP or something similarly amazing though...

NJ Gov School (backup: NJ Scholars Program)
Currently trying to get a research internship (backup: job)

College course
SAT prep (if I don't get a 36 on the ACT)
SAT II prep (fourth one, so it doesn't matter as much)
College essays
College visits

And if Calc BC doesn't work out in my schedule next year then I'm skipping it this summer.

Secretary for a Anesthesiologist
Nylf medicine at Upenn
Volunteer Work at Hosptial
Job?
Physics and Comp Sci summer classes

theoneo, how are you fitting all that in? For me gov school is 5 weeks... I'm assuming in NJ it will be similar but that would mean you have 3 weeks for a job, visits, camp, prep, etc...

My Gov School is 4 weeks. That must be the difference. =P

I won't be resting this summer. At all. Or first semester of next year. That's why it's especially important that I slack off second semester senior year.

Taking courses @ community college
Volunteering @ hospital + therapeutic riding institute
Hopefully watching a surgery or three
