<p>Unless something has changed, there isn't a consensus on this parent's forum re: resumes in applications.</p>
<p>I am not/was not a fan of resumes, except on interviews. I believe your significant strengths, activities and accomplishments should be boiled down. If it won't fit, I suggest asking yourself how relevant it is. If your top accomplishments really won't fit, I don't think resume will hurt your chances...I just don't know if it will be read.</p>
<p>My S included a resume, but that was because there was no space for including some of the information he needed to convey. It was all on one page.</p>
<p>It is better to include as much of the information on the common app and supplement. Remember that you can always attach a sheet after filling in the relevant space with "see attached sheet." For example, if you have more awards than there is space to list them, write "see attached sheet" then fill in the information, preceded by the item number, on another sheet (remember to write your name and DOB on the sheet).</p>
