Hi guys.
As I start working on my college applications, I've noticed that everyone around me is writing "resumes" for their apps. I was under the impression that the common app would be sufficient. I was wondering if it may be better to include a resume, especially since I don't seem to have enough space on the common app template for both my activities and awards.
Thanks!

It is.

In this case, however, feel free. Try to keep it to one page.

It’s better to fit it all on the application if at all possible (despite what your friends are doing). If there is something that can’t fit, put it in the section for extra info if there is one. Some colleges will not consider any extra material (UVA for example) so you’re better off trying to condense and fit it in the application itself.
