Just a thought...

I am applying for NYU Gallatin this Spring 08 as a transfer student. I have been thinking about the fact that currently I have 31 credits of college work completed with a GPA of 3.81 (weighted). I am in the honors college, I am tutoring students in the writing center, I have work experience, and I am writing trail reports for a mountain biking organization (a community service ec). High school was a flop. I had a 3.0 overall and a 1400/2400 on the SATs (eek, I know!).

My schedule:

Fall 06 (first year):
Mus 100 - A
ArtHist 101 - A
English 101 - A-
Math 108 - W (I found out it wasn't required for my major :S)

Spring 07:
Math 124 - B
ArtHist 102 - A
English 102 - A
Hist 101 -A

Summer 07:
English 202 - A-
Hist 102 - A
Sociology 102 - A

Currently I have 17 credits in progess:

English 303
English 493 - Writing Center Intern
Hist 312
Hist 211 Honors
Geology 101 Honors
Philosophy 101

My question concerns Gallatin's interest in my midterm grade reports for this semester. Does anyone know if they will request them? I feel if I can keep this semester way up there and they see that, that my chances will go up. If they don't request them, could I get midterm grades from the registrars office and send them away with the application? Any thoughts or comments on this?
