just curious but did anyone get 2400 on SAT in may??

look at title

an interesting comparison would be 2400 scorers in march vs. may
i'd like to see that, numbers-wise at least

anyone??????????

I did.

Then again, maybe I didn't.

lol, almost fooled me a second. There probably were some, but I don't think there'll be as many as March.

because the ones that got perfects in march wont be retaking it in may

^^^^^^^^^^
there ya go..

Have to retake ;(

Kidding.

I know one person who aced the one in May.

I know one person who's the star athlete of our school and she got a 1590. But she's going for valedictorian too. Crazy.

1590 out of 1600?

No, 1590 out of 2400. I know, terrible, she's retaking. She must've been drunk when she took the test or something.

I didn't do too great myself, but I found out that there are a lot of people from my school who scored less than 1500/2400. Very surprising.

"No, 1590 out of 2400. I know, terrible, she's retaking. She must've been drunk when she took the test or something."

Haha, I thought you meant out of 1600, but that's not what I'm quoting you for... why would she have to have been drunk if she scored a 1590? I know kids who score in the 800s/900s/1000s out of 2400 and are happy. I'm not one of them, but so what. Some of the "intelligent" kids at my school can't break 1200... getting a 1600+ is an anomaly, and if some people gets a 1550, they do a happy dance and share it with the world.

I'm not one of these people, but I'm just saying, just because they get so low doesn't mean "they were drunk"... they're just not good at tests... plain and simple.

In response to the thread... I haven't heard of anyone yet! I thought I would have by now.. perhaps the 2400s are saving themselves for June?

No she's a good student, she's so surprised she did that badly actually and said the drunk crack herself.

Come on, she might be valedictorian, she can take tests.

Other students who aren't as good as her did better, but she's NOT a bad test taker and she's not stupid, she could've done just as better.

I guess it's fine, it is better than average after all. I think seeing all of the people here retaking 2250+ has kinda altered my thinking on what's good, what's great, and what's bad than what I thought before.

i read in the new york times that in the march sat only 300 people got a 2400

Are you kidding? There is no way you know someone who was happy with an SAT score of 800 out of 2400. An 800 out of 2400 is almost possible if you don't even fill in an answer.

Only 107 out of 300,000+ kids got a 2400 in march, but I would like to repeat the OPs question, does anyone know any stats on the may new sat, and the comparison between the may and march (i.e how many perfect scores?)

Yeah really, an 800? You can't get higher than 400 on any section, and if you do get a 400, you have to get 2 200s!! I don't think I've ever heard of anybody getting below a 400...

My friend did.. he came to the test without a calculator :)
