parents. =(

It looks like 7.

Four reaches, two matches, one safety.

insubvert: Ah. I have a friend in that situation. To make matters worse, CalTech is her dream school and her parents won't even let her apply...

^^ That sounds about like the situation I'm in. My parents won't let me leave the state of Colorado because my mom has this whole notion of growing up in stages. She claims that anywhere will feel far enough once I'm there. I disagree with her, but i looks like 3 safeties for me.

I wasn't very excited about applying to my alma mater, but ultimately it came down to sublime merit aid and lack thereof from everywhere else I got into that made me go there. I ended up having a positive experience from it all. You never know where you'll end up until it's time to decide based on your admissions/aid offers.

7 or 8, with 8 being the max.

Hopefully only 1, if EA works out!

If not, then, I dunno, 6 or 7?

6
1 reach
4 matches
1 safety

If ED doesn't work out im applying to 13 in total.
with EA and rolling and all that im applying to 5.

5, that includes one safety

god Ii'm not even 100% sure yet..
i know that im applying to 2 safeties which I hate, but I'm 99% sure ill get into and can go full ride
and then a reach, and another one that is sort of match but nor really..?
i dont know, i'm not 100% on any of the schools im applying too.. its not a great situation tbh
