Not sure what it means. I got a very nice letter from Stephen Farmer, Admissions, and a nice brochure today.<br>
My friends did not get this, but one real smart girl I know, did get it--but she's the only one.
Is this a good sign of any sort or just mail?
FWIW, I'm a URM with a good GPA/ACT--both, not great, but in striking range.

<p>It means you’ll probably get in if you apply. You definitely have to put effort in your application though. I’m not absolutely sure, but I think they send those out to people in a specific SAT score range.</p>
<p>Thanks for the words of encouragement luke. Of course I will apply, this is a dream school of mine, though my stats, IMO, are on the low side for UNC-CH. One can only apply and see where fate goes…:)</p>
