Just got an interesting letter from Pitt!

<p>It was a letter from Pitt congratulating my teacher on a really good college recommendation letter. Enclosed was a "gesture of our appreciation". They said that they read tons of recommendations a year and his has been chosen as one of the best. I hope this was good for me. It also had this weird story in it about a Mexican guy that throws starfishes into the ocean. Does everyone get this letter? </p>

<p>I was so excited because I thought that this was a scholarship because of the type of envelope it came in. Did anyone get scholarships other than full tuition?</p>

<p>Yes! My daughter received that letter today as well! I think that’s a very nice and impressive gesture on the part of the admissions committee. Still anxiously awaiting scholarship info! If I remember correctly from reading on CC somewhere, you got one of the guaranteed pharmacy seats, right, and attended the U Pitt Pharmacy camp? My D got a seat and went to the camp too…</p>
