At the beginning of the semester I posted almost jokingly and said I would get a 4.0 at Michigan State my Freshman year I worked like an animal and I ended up with a 3.91!!! My high school stats were alright, had a 29 ACT, 2050 SAT, 3.77 GPA, good extracurriculars(a few with leadership positions)

Chances at:
University of Michigan
Northwestern University
University of Southern Cal
University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign
University of North Carolina?

This is awesome, because your stats are pretty similar to my stats.... haha I'm looking at maybe a 3.8-3.9, with 2050 SAT and 31ACT, but a 3.3 HS GPA. I want to see how this works out.

I'm applying to Penn and Cornell.

Yeah, good luck to you on your finals and college apps, I'm trying to put together some essays right now and enjoying my break.

should have a good shot at all the schools listed

Be careful about going from Michigan State to Michigan. There is a thread out there by a girl who had similar stats to you that got rejected. Try to dig it up. It wasn't too long ago. The rumor is (its a rumor because I have never seen any real proof of it) that Michigan and Michigan State have an agreement not to take the top kids from either school. A sort of gentleman's agreement. I don't know, it's worth looking into.

Yeah I've heard about that, but I don't know if it's true, I will definitely take into consideration what you have said and look into it. I'm applying to a good amount of schools though so even if I get rejected from one or two I have other options.
