just one shot @ WashU St.Louis! come and see if i can :)

got in state university in spring semester( graduated early =_=) and wanna transfer to washu for fall of 2009... so pretty much just one semester~

pros:
1) 34 act
2) 2 ap 4 points each
3) 3.97 or 3.98 high school GPA (unweighted)
4) college GPA, mmm. not sure! but hopefully 4.0
5) work but no ECs in college ( i did in high school though)
6) math major!! ^_^ i don't know if this will help?!

cons:
1) just one semester! damn~
2) international needs financial aid! $$$O_O$$$$
3) dunno other top colleges that permit students to transfer only after one semester= =
4) professor rec??? hopefully good, but i have been with him for only 2 months!!!
5) my purpose is to get in good graduate schools, and i dunno if transfer will help or harm???

thanks ~ thanks~ waiting for all suggestions!!!!

im pretty sure you need a year of college work to apply as a transfer. Why didnt you just apply as a freshman? If you still want to transfer I think you would have to wait until spring semester nxt year or fall of 2010

Nope, you dont have to wait for 1 year. I had a friend from Brown who transfered to WashU after spending only 1 semester at Brown.

It depends on the college you apply to. Some allow for freshman spring admissions while others do not.

You have a good as chance as any, as long as you better your English to some extent…

so, can i take it as it is worth for me to take a shot at washu?

btw… what are other colleges that also accept first semester-transfer?
