Just Submitted...But it says i submitted 1/02!!!

I live in California...PST~
And Stanford's site said Midnight, January 1st (Pacific Time)
So...I submitted it 11:32 PM PST
And it said i submitted 1/02!!!</p>

<p>Am i screwd?!?!!?!?!?!</p>

you're fine as long as you got it in before 3am EST</p>

<p>if it says "submitted" (I submitted all my apps yesterday - 12/31) but not "downloaded", is that ok...since today it the deadline? (still pacific time over here)</p>

hmm weird, because I don't think people will be up at this hour, but I guess it's a computer system?</p>

<p>i turned mine in 11:58 PST and it says i turned it in 1/02/09. It still says submitted rather than downloaded and I haven't got an email. Do i need to worry? Should I call Stanford tomorow?</p>

<p>^^ it will say submitted until Stanford downloads it, which could take a few days. Don't worry.</p>

<p>Also, don't worry that it was submitted "late." (Mine was submitted a "day late"--actually about an hour and a half--but Stanford still downloaded it.)</p>

<p>okay. this is a relief. I submitted both at around 10 ish, and it still says 01/02/09. :(
But they downloaded it, so I guess that means it's okay..?</p>

<p>if it's been downloaded, i've read that pretty much means your app was accepted</p>

<p>^^ to clarify, that means that they have taken your application and will consider it for admission, not that you have been accepted.</p>

<p>Mine still says submitted...I submitted it at 11:59. Should I contact Stanford or just wait to see if they download it?</p>

<p>^i don't think there will be any staff there until the 5th, so i'd say wait for the download, and then call them on the 5th</p>
