So I just took the sat on college board for the first time and got 350 in writing and reading (skipped essay on purpose) in math I got 390. These are All ranges. Is this pretty good for the first try and is this an accurate set of scores?
Thx

Bump please I need help

What is you grade level? That is far below average.

Actually your score is very rare !

I’m sorry but that’s really low, even for the first time.

I am a junior

Are u a ■■■■■?

Ramoanwar lol!!

Would it be somewhat higher if I did the essay part

Yeah, your writing score would be higher if you wrote a good (or at least decent) essay. Unfortunately, as others have said, your score is below average. Keep working, and I’m sure it’ll improve :)

This is likely a trolling thread. A junior did the first practice test in May? Or if you no intention to go to college at all.

im not trolling i just havent taken the sat yet.
btw i took it again with the essay this time and got a 1200

that’s far below average, maybe you should consider taking an ACT practice test

Maybe you should consider getting a tutor too because you’re starting mighty late with a score that low.

Yeah that’s a little low, but you can still improve w/ some practice. Reading over some Kaplan strategies might work for you.

I don’t think anyone’s being a ■■■■■, but it IS really, really low. A fifth grader would get that score. If you are doing OKAY at school, you will probably get over at least 600 for each section even without any kind of practice… That score is rare, because no one gets that low. If you don’t answer anything, you get 200. And you know the full score for each section is 800. There are many people trying to get +750 for the first or second sitting… G’luck with your SAT then.

Just to add, if you have a learning disability or are an international student, that’s a different story. But if you grew up here and still getting that score, it means you have a serious problem, dude. No trolling. Just being honest. Don’t take anything that says the brutal truth as “trolling.” You got way below the national average. You should expect to here the truth that hurts your feeling. If you know the basic vocabs and have basic ability to read, you should’ve gotten better score even at first try. But you can get better with practices. So, good luck.
